My favorite spot in Orlando. Great coffee in the morning, great cocktails at night, and they still rent DVDs. The veggie burger is incredible and the patio is dog-friendly. Live music on weekends is always a vibe.
Stardust Video
& Coffee
The place
Stardust Video & Coffee is a vegan-friendly cafe and cocktail bar at 1842 Winter Park Rd in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando, FL. The shop combines a coffee bar, full liquor bar, and a DVD rental library inside a single eclectic space. Light fare includes sandwiches, salads, vegan and vegetarian plates, baked goods, beer, wine, and craft cocktails. Stardust hosts live music, open-mic nights, trivia, film screenings, and local art events most evenings. The cafe is dog-friendly on the outdoor patio and offers free Wi-Fi, making it a longtime remote-work spot. Open daily from morning through late night, Stardust does not take reservations and operates as a walk-in counter-service venue with on-site parking.
Stardust Video & Coffee is an Orlando institution tucked into the Audubon Park Garden District on Winter Park Road, just south of Corrine Drive. The space is part coffeehouse, part dive bar, part DVD rental shop, and part live-music venue — and it has been all of those things for more than two decades. Locals, students from nearby Rollins and UCF, and East End Market regulars fill the mismatched tables and patio benches throughout the day and well into the night.
The kitchen leans vegan-friendly without being exclusive. Most visitors order the Cosmic Veggie Burger, the hummus plate, a grilled cheese with tomato soup, or the avocado toast for breakfast. Coffee runs from straightforward drip and cold brew to espresso drinks, while the bar pours local craft beer, natural wine, and house cocktails like the Espresso Martini and Moscow Mule. Pastries, vegan cookies, and dairy-free milk options round out the counter.
Stardust is walk-in only — no reservations — with free on-site parking in the lot out front. The covered patio is dog-friendly, and the indoor room hosts free live music, open mic, trivia, and indie film nights most weeks. Takeout is available at the counter and through Uber Eats and DoorDash. The DVD rental wall in the back is still active and stocked with cult, foreign, and out-of-print titles.
What to expect
Expect a low-key, eclectic counter-service cafe with vintage furniture, local art, a working DVD rental wall, and a dog-friendly patio. Order at the counter, grab a table, and stay for coffee in the morning, sandwiches at lunch, or cocktails and live music after dark.

What people are saying
Such a cool, eclectic place. We came for trivia night and ended up staying for hours. The espresso martini is one of the best in the city and the vegan options are actually delicious, not an afterthought.
Been coming here for over ten years. Stardust is one of the last truly weird, locally-owned spots left in Orlando. Affordable food, strong drinks, great people-watching, and free Wi-Fi if you need to work.
